Ohio High School Golf Coaches Association 

Dear Golf Coaches,

Good morning! My name is Eric Heitkamp, and I am the president of your Ohio High School Golf Coaches Association. This is my first spring as acting president and I am excited to work for you and for all of our coaches! Behind me is an amazing team of coaches and individuals committed to making our association the absolute best it can be.

Our first order of business is to invite you to our State Coaches Clinic. For the second straight year, we will be hosting this event at Wedgewood Country Club in Powell, Ohio. The date for this is Monday, May 1, with registration, coffee, and light breakfast options at 7:30. We will kick off our meeting promptly at 8:00 am.

​

We are so excited about our guests for the day, and to again go out to the practice facilities to learn from some of the best instructors in our area. You will see we have The Head Men’s coaches from both The Ohio State University (Jay Mosely) and Xavier University (Brian Arlinghaus).

​

We have set aside 90 minutes for instruction, where you will have the opportunity to attend three stations involving the full swing, chipping/wedge play, and putting. 

​

We will conclude the event with a box lunch at 12:15.

​

We hope you will consider being a part of this day. An attempt to give our coaches some wonderful instruction and learn from some of the best is something I hope each of you will want to be a part of.

Click HERE to download the Registration information. The Registration Fee for the Clinic and Dues is $50.00.  If you can't make the Clinic, simply send your Dues ($25.00) through September 5, 2023; thereafter, the cost to join will be $50.00.
